About the Commonwealth Leadership Series CHOGM 2026
On the sidelines of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2026, the Commonwealth Youth Council (CYC), in partnership with UNICEF Generation Unlimited / Green Rising and King’s Trust International, will convene a special edition of the Commonwealth Leadership Series under the theme “A Billion Reasons to Rise.”
The gathering will bring together Heads of Government, Ministers, development partners, private sector leaders and young changemakers to advance investment in young people and accelerate youth-led solutions to global challenges.
A key highlight will be the launch of the US$1 Billion Green Rising Fund, an ambitious initiative to mobilise investment in young people as drivers of climate action, green innovation and sustainable development.
Through high-level conversations and strategic engagement, the Breakfast will provide a platform to strengthen partnerships, inspire commitments and advance opportunities for young people across the Commonwealth and beyond.
